Team

About us

We're a small in-house team of product builders, engineers, and operations professionals based in Helsinki.

Several of us have planned shifts, closed payroll weeks, and managed multi-site schedules ourselves. We build Dupexi with the discipline we would expect when our own week depends on it.

Mission

Why we exist

We started with multi-location restaurants, where scheduling was often spread across spreadsheets, group chats, and disconnected systems. Managers spent too much time handling schedule changes, tracking hours manually, and verifying payroll data.

Dupexi puts weekly planning, shift updates, hours, and location context in one place so managers stop reconciling tabs and chats before payroll. That restaurant-first experience still shapes the product as teams in retail, hospitality, and logistics use Dupexi today.

Principles

What guides us

The principles behind every product and company decision.

Operators first

We build for the people running shifts, not for feature lists. Every decision starts with a simple question: does this make a manager's or worker's day easier? If the answer is no, it doesn't ship.

Depth over breadth

Dupexi is purpose-built for weekly shift scheduling across locations. Rather than stretching into a general HR platform, we go deep on the one workflow that keeps your operation running.

Earned trust, not rushed releases

We ship when something is genuinely ready for a live schedule — then keep refining it based on how real teams work week to week. Stability isn't a feature; it's a baseline.

Timeline

How we got here

  1. Start. We scoped the first version around weekly planning and shift communication, then put it in managers' hands to see what failed under real volume.

  2. Build.Early versions were shaped alongside working managers — iterating on speed, clarity, and reliability during the weeks that mattered most.

  3. Grow.As customers expanded, Dupexi grew with them — more locations, more roles, one platform — rather than patching together separate tools per site.

  4. Today.Dupexi runs on web and mobile for teams in restaurants, retail, hospitality, and other shift-based operations. Product development still tracks that original weekly workflow.
